Crews updates

Crews got a new Auburn hat from his Grandaddy on Sunday. So far he is really enjoying it. He has started clapping - thanks to his love for pat-a-cake. Chase and I are about to have our hands full because Crews is going to be into everything. Yesterday, he pulled up to his knees to reach Grant's lion on top of the trunk/coffee table. Once he happily retrieved it, he sat right back down and chewed on its tail. He is soooo determined and not easily discouraged. He is so funny to me and continues to make me laugh out loud. I fall in love with him and Savannah more every day.

Savannah's First Movie

Savannah saw her first movie at the theatre today in Destin after the required Target stop. She had lots of fun, but did not want to stay for the last 30 minutes. She wanted to go to "another Target."
She chose M & M's and popcorn. They were yummy. When we got back to the van, she told me she "ate too much popcorn."
Today was also the day they light the Christmas tree at Destin Commons. It was a big production.
Here is the wrapper from Savannah's Apple Dippers. She handed it to me and said, "It's a sailboat!" She had folded it and made a sailboat!

"In My Frog Boots..."

Friday Savi Sue had fun playing in the rain.
"In my frog boots, in my frog boots, I stomp all around in my frog boots, B-O-O-T-S, FROG BOOTS" (for all of the Laurie Berkner fans)

Updates...

  • It has been a while since I have posted pictures, so I have some catching up to do. I posted several today (see below). I will post more soon.

  • Crews has been babbling bye-bye-bye-bye and ma-ma-ma-ma-ma-ma-ma for a while, but he now clearly says bye-bye in conversation. He even opens and closes his hand with it sometimes to wave. It is adorable. I love watching him look at his hand in amazement as it opens and closes like ours. We think he will start crawling this week. His favorite sound so far is "crinkly sound" like that of the wipes packet. He is also very fond of Pat-a-Cake.

  • Savannah is really enjoying school and church these days. I have enjoyed all of the new songs she comes home singing and the art work she has done. She is increasingly humorous to me. I love all of the funny things she says.

  • I have to share my favorite blog...if you haven't heard me talk about it yet...I have to go to this blog when I get a chance to sit down at the computer to go "blogging." I found it through Elizabeth (thanks!!). I am very inspired by her faith and her life, and I particularly enjoy the "Not Me Mondays." Maybe I'll try one of those in the near future.
