"I like time - out !!!!"

Those were Savi's exact words while in time-out today. Fun times...

She had her first jazz class recently and loved it. She said that was her favorite part of class, which also includes tap and ballet.

Crews walked up to me wearing Chase's boots and said, "I'm Daddy!" I said, "Hey Daddy, I'm so glad you're home from work! You've got to go to church now and do the sound!" (b/c those are the 2 places he goes when he's "Daddy.") He turned around and waved bye and said, "Bye Frewsie! Don't fry wittle frewsie!" (translation: Don't cry little Crewsie) :) He loves his daddy!

I love a good imagination!

My summer find

One of my favorite summer finds is a variety of Method cleaning products.

They smell great! They are non-toxic! So now when Savi asks to help clean the answer is - YES! (I used to only let her have a spray bottle with water in it.)

Here are my favorites...

Now for the one, and probably only negative product review...don't waste your money on this little one.

Just load up on the others. I can't say enough good things about them. I can only find them at Target, but I guess I could order online if I wanted and have them sent right to my door. I enjoy the trip to Target way to much for that I think!

"Hotlanta"

We went to visit Raine and Lauren earlier this summer and had a great time. Here are several of our fun memories. It was very, very hot there - as it is here.

First: Imagine That Children's Museum of Atlanta Next: Museum of Natural History - Fernbank Museum (This is where everyone thought I wanted to go when I was trying to get us to Imagine That. Once we got there, I told Chase that I didn't think we had gone to the right place. But we had fun and then we headed to Imagine That.) Next: Aquarium

(this is Uncle Raine for those who may not know)

Now, I am way - way behind on posting from this summer! We have accomplished almost all of our summer list. I will try to update soon, but here's what we have done so far...

Aquarium

Children's museum

go to parks

slip and slide

beach

feed birds

Micheal Buble' concert

"picnic"

collect seashells

watch sunset

pick and eat blueberries

paint pottery at seaside

art camp

tumbling camp

make a necklace and bracelet

***Savannah has decided that we will not camp this year - "maybe when she's older" she says.

More Summer Fun...

Sunday was fun. First we made homemade lemonade. It was better than I imagined! I'm not much for lemonade, but I enjoyed this batch so much. However, with lemons at $0.42 each, we will not make this too much of a tradition. I wonder if we could grow a lemon tree here.

Once our lemonade passed the taste test, we packed a couple of lemonade filled sippy cups and went swimming at Mrs. Taylor's pool and tried out Savannah's new Puddle Jumper. We will definitely be getting another one for Crews as well. Savannah jumped off the diving board so many times that I lost count. Every time she would say, "don't let my head go under, okay?"

I did not take our camera to the pool, but I wish I had. Here are a few pictures of Savannah and Crews riding their scooters. They have enjoyed those things, inside the house and out!

make homemade lemonade

swimming

ride bikes and scooters

eat home grown bellpepper/tomatoes

There will be many repeats of these activities, it's just nice to live this summer with "intention" - as the McMaths would say. ;)
