More Pictures

Here are some more pictures of last month. We celebrated both Crews and Savannah's Birthdays last weekend. I don't think we will do a double party again. I felt like I couldn't savour my babies enough that way. It went by all too fast for me. Savannah blew out her candles like a champ and Crews just wanted to touch the fire - I had to hold his hand back. I tell you, boys are different than girls for sure. Savannah never wanted to play in the toilet, trash, or anything nasty, yet Crews finds them incredibly interesting and entertaining. Savannah has also just warmed up to playing in the sand and loves it, but has never (to my knowledge) eaten it. Crews has passed this milestone as well. He not only tried one fist full, but a second fist full, and unfortunately a third fist full! Oh my goodness! I am going to have to let a lot of things go now that I have a boy. I love-love-love them both so much! I am so thankful for them! Also my sister is going to have Lauri Grace next Thursday, so please pray for a safe and easy delivery (cesarean) next week.

Not Me Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

I have NOT loved MckMama's site too long and had her button on my blog for soooo long to just now do a Not Me! Monday! ... So here is some catching up from the past month or so...

I did NOT have to ride home from Dr. Bang's office wearing nothing on top but a bra and a pillow case draped around my shoulders because I was thrown up on two or three times in the office. Not Me! That would be gross!

I have NOT decided that I would love to throw every last thing in my house away (except the chocolate) just so it could stay clean for 15 minutes - Not Me! That would be such a waste of money, right?

I have NOT had to limit myself to one jar of Nutella a month, because I do NOT eat it by the spoonfuls as sit and watch TV or catch up on blogs...that would be so fattening, so I would NOT do that!

I also do NOT have a great and wonderful husband who gave me a box of chocolate for Valentine's Day which I have NOT eaten all but the few - I mean few- last pieces. No, that would be glutton-ess!!

I have NOT indulged by child with everything Cars imaginable - even the famous "Car Boots!" I did NOT have a hard time waiting to give them to her for Valentine's Day! I especially did NOT give her one of her books: If You Give A Cat A Cupcake early because I truly couldn't wait any longer to read it to her. I would NOT do that - that may spoil her!

I also do NOT allow my son to use a pink paci when the need arises, just to keep peace and quiet his hawk-like squeals. But most importantly I have NEVER let him use it in public! Nope! NOT ME!

Whewwww! That was a little therapeutic! Now, for some updated pictures of my little darlin's click HERE.

Christmas 2008 photo preview...

This is "Crewsie," as Savannah lovingly call him, before eating lots and lots of wrapping paper and tissue paper. It was his favorite part of Christmas.
Here is Savi sporting her favorite 'jamas (as we call them)...Cars. She is in love with Cars. Her favorite stocking stuffer was a Car sippy cup.
sniff...sniff...

Cotton Christmas

Grandmother Cotton lovingly makes everyone a Christmas stocking when they are born. If you marry into the Cotton family, your name goes onto your spouse's stocking. So my name has been up there for seven years now. Chase's will hit the 30 year mark this Christmas. So far it looks like there are 28 to 30 stockings over the fireplace. Wow!! We always have fun each year when we check out what they are filled with. Grandmother also draws names for each of us to give $5 "stocking stuffers." It's fun to try to find something for $5, and this way everyone is involved. Next year, Raine's stocking will have fresh paint on it. :) We are looking forward to adding Lauren to our family in June. God has blessed my family so much in every way. I am so thankful for His Son and His grace and mercy.

Photo Challenge

Okay... BearBear challenged me, so here it goes:
Challenge = fourth picture in your fourth folder with discription
This is Don's (my father-in-law) '57 T-Bird. Chase took pictures of it to send in to Overhaulin' to enter his dad for the TV show. He's had it for over 20 years and has always wanted to fix it up.
Thank goodness the challenge was not for the fifth folder!!! There were some rough pictures of me and my pregnant belly in that one! Ha! Ha!
To complete the challenge I am to pick four new challengers:
2. Beth
Have fun!! I look forward to your pictures.

Crews's workout

Crews decided that the plastic wisk was his favorite toy for the day and would not let go of it. He even used it during his workout of about 20 push-ups on the couch. Here he is about to begin:
Crews tired after his workout:
Like Daddy, his eyes are focused on the TV (These are just too cute not to share.)
"Shhhhheeeeeeeeeewwww - my rest is over - MaMa, what are you laughing at?":
